I am a local guitar teacher and have been teaching at Gelb Music for 41 years offering the highest quality in guitar instruction to students of all backgrounds, ages, abilities, and interests in the Redwood City/mid-Peninsula area. I teach electric and acoustic guitar in all styles (rock, blues, jazz, finger style, funk, etc.), and also ukulele.
My students are of all ages. I am currently teaching students ranging from 8 ½ to 68 years old—boys and girls, men and women. It’s never too late to start up learning to play the guitar. Playing music is one of the truly great joys in life—adding to your life experience. With a little bit of regular practice, you can have a wonderfully fun hobby that you can enjoy with other people, and a skill that you can always take forward.

Lessons are private ½ hour sessions, once a week— same day, same time—at Gelb Music Teaching Institute in Redwood City. Any new student able to come in between 10am and 1:30pm M-F—$5 off every lesson! (Availability permitting)
